Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the #1 (left) lane on northbound State Route 49 (SR-49) from Main Street to SR-12 in San Andreas for pavement work.

Work will begin Monday, November 28, 2016, through Friday, December 2, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

In addition, one-way traffic control will occur on northbound and southbound SR-49 from Whittle Road to Angels Creek for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, November 28, 2016, through Thursday, December 1, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
