Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will alternately close the #1 (left) lane, right and left shoulders, bike lane and median on eastbound and westbound State Route 26 (SR-26) from Nove Way to SR-12 in Valley Springs for pavement work.

Work will occur Monday, November 28, 2016, through Friday, December 2, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Also, Caltrans will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-26 from Gill Haven Drive to just east of Alabama Hill for slope repair beginning Monday, November 28, 2016, through Friday, December 2, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
