Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) from Batten Road in Vallecito to Meko Drive in Camp Connell for tree work.

Crews will begin work on Monday, December 12, 2016, through Friday, December 16, 2016, from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control will also occur on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from the Stanislaus/Calaveras County line to SR-49 in Angels Camp for grinding operations beginning Wednesday, December 14, 2016, through Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
