Calaveras County, CA… The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on northbound and southbound State Route 49 from Gun Club Road to Mayo Road in Angels Camp for utility work. Due to the Christmas Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Sunday (December 25).

Work will occur on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, through Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
