Tuolumne County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have intermittent closures on northbound and southbound State Route 49 at Springfield Road for utility work. Due to the Christmas Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Sunday (December 25).

Crews will be working Wednesday, December 28, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5 minute delays during one-way traffic control.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
