San Andreas, CA…Between 6:00 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Monday, CHP Officers handled 4 minor injury accidents. Fortunately the accidents were not DUI related. However we did arrest 1 person for being under the influence.

We would like to give a big thank you to citizens that took action and dialed 911 regarding a reckless driver. A BOL (Be On the Lookout) went out to the San Andreas officers and they were able to stop the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver for being under the influence.

During the holiday period the San Andreas Officers wrote 15 citations, most were for speeding, 3 were for failing to wear seatbelts, and 1 for being an unlicensed driver.
