Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) from Batten Road in Vallecito to Meko Drive in Camp Connell for tree work. Due to the New Year’s Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Sunday, January 1st or Monday, January 2nd.

Crews will begin work on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, through Friday, January 6, 2017, from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
