Amador County, CA… The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on northbound and southbound State Route 49 (SR-49) from the Amador/Calaveras County line to French Bar Road in Jackson for shoulder work. Due to the New Years Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Sunday, January 1st or Monday, January 2nd.

Work will begin Tuesday, January 3, 2017, through Friday, January 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control will also be in effect on SR-49 for striping operations from Clinton Road to South Avenue beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017, through Friday, January 6, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
