Amador County, CA… The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 88 (SR-88). Due to the New Years Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Sunday, January 1st or Monday, January 2nd. Work will occur as follows:

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from SR-49 in Jackson to Ridge Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017, through Friday, January 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Columbia Drive to Shake Ridge Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017, through Friday, January 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
