Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! 7″ overnight!!! 45″ for the current storm total and more is on the way! Snowfall continues as we have now picked up 45″ of new snow in the last 2 1/2 days. Today the high will be 30F with winds out of the SSW from 14-24mph. Another 2-4″ is expected to fall today as the current system wraps up and makes it’s way east later tonight. Friday looks to be mostly sunny as we take a break for 18hrs or so before the next system arrives. Saturday temps cool down a bit and we should see 4-8″ of snow during the day before the warmer air mass associated with that system moves into the area and we most likely will see a change to mixed precipitation and then rain through most of Saturday night and continuing through Sunday before the next wave of colder air helps bring the snow elevations down by Monday. Snow levels during Saturday nights event will be around 8000′ and then dropping to around 4-5000′ Monday. Following the weekend continued systems will arrive almost every other day starting Monday and last through out the week. Come on up and enjoy our “Pure Mountain Fun” ethos!!!!!! Stay tuned………………
