San Andreas, CA…Unfortunately, San Andreas CHP Officers investigated 8 fatal traffic collisions in 2016. In those 8 collisions 9 people lost their lives, 3 of the drivers were under the influence of alcohol, 2 of the fatal victims were passengers in the vehicle, 1 of the fatal victims was operating a motorcycle, 2 of the victims were not properly restrained by a seat belt or car seat, the youngest victim was 3 and the oldest was 79.

These are not just numbers, they are a stark reminder to drive safely, wear your seatbelt and always designate a driver.
