Pinecrest, CA…On Sunday evening around 5 PM, The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a road rage incident that occurred at Dodge Ridge. A man later identified as a36 year old Turlock, threatened to kill the victim and pointed what the victim believed was a firearm at the him. The road in the area was backed up and many cars were passing illegally. The Turlock man was trying to pass and the victim was in the way, preventing him from doing so.

The victim relocated the the 2016 gray Toyota Tundra pick-up near the Dodge Ridge Lodge and was able to give the Sheriff’s Office a description of the pickup and the license plate. The Turlock man left the area in the pick-up and was located by CHP.

Deputies arrived and investigated the incident. During a search of the Turlock man’s pick-up, a handgun was located.
He was arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail for criminal threats.
