Black Oak Casino Resort Brings Country Music Royalty, Pam Tillis & A Variety Of Local Bands To Willow Creek Lounge

Tuolumne, CA…Black Oak Casino Resort will be the epicenter for entertainment in February as Willow Creek Lounge continues to welcome a wide variety of music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Among those hitting the stage is country music legend, Pam Tillis and the area’s most exciting tribute performers.

Each show is performed in the casino’s Willow Creek Lounge, and they are free but for a select few that may have a minimal ticket charge. For all 8 p.m. shows, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. while doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for 9 p.m. shows. Seating is first come, first serve.

Thursday, February 2, 8 p.m. – Andy Avery
Lead singer for the band Smokehouse, Andy Avery has opened for such bands as Kiss, Bon Jovi and many other national acts. He is also known for filling in for Steve Perry with Journey.

Friday, February 3, 9 p.m. – One More From the Road
One More From the Road is a tribute to Southern Rock legends Lynard Skynyrd. The 10-piece band includes three guitarists, a trio of vocalists and lead singer, Lloyd Tonsing who closely resembles late front man, Ronnie Van Zant.

Saturday, February 4, 9 p.m. – Andy Avery and the Decades
Andy Avery and the Decades is a fun, interactive dance through music history playing everything from Neil Diamond to Journey. Avery’s lead vocals and showmanship will have guests out of their seats.

Thursday, February 9, 8 p.m. – Stomp Box
StompBox is a five-member band blues infused rock n’ roll band hailing from Sonora.

Friday, February 10, 9 p.m. – Shane Dwight
Shane Dwight is a blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. In addition to his eight CDs and two “Live” DVDs under his belt, Dwight has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, including B.B. King, Etta James, Jimmie Vaughan and Los Lobos.

Saturday, February 11, 9 p.m. – Clean Slate
Clean Slate is a high-energy dance band inspired by the likes of Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin and James Brown who offer a mix of soul, R&B and old school hits.

Thursday, February 16, 8 p.m. – Pam Tillis (Tickets are $20)
Country music singer-songwriter and two-time Grammy winner, Pam Tillis will perform her greatest hits including “Maybe it was Memphis,” “Shake the Sugar Tree,” and “All The Good Ones Are Gone.”

Saturday, February 18, 9 p.m. – Smash City
Smash City is dance party favorite entertaining audiences with hits from the 70s through today covering artists from Cool & the Gang to The Beatles to Katy Perry and 2Pac.

Thursday, February 23, 8 p.m. – Harvest Gold
Harvest Gold, from the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, is a high-energy Rock and Roll trio presenting rich familiar sounds in a style all their own.

Friday, February 24, 9 p.m. – Chains Required
Chains Required is a 10-piece rhythm & blues band, named Best Local Band for Tuolumne County by Sierra Lodestar, because of their one-of-a-kind, soul-stirring performances.

Saturday, February 25, 9 p.m. – Spazmatics – Nerds that Rock
Paying homage to the iconic movie “Revenge of the Nerds,” the Spazmatics are a nerdy new wave 80s dance party tribute band. The four-member band combines musicianship with fun, creative flair.
Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke free entertainment venue complete with a full service bar, dance floor and bar-top video slots. All guests to the lounge must be 21 or older to attend.
