Sonora, CA…Adventist Health has been an integral part of Calaveras and Tuolumne counties for more than 45 years. As consumer expectations and the healthcare industry have changed and evolved, so have we. Today we are excited to announce the next chapter in our story, as Sonora Regional Medical Center will become Adventist Health Sonora. This is part of an exciting new initiative taking place over the next several months throughout our health system. ONE Adventist Health leverages the strengths and expertise of Adventist Health’s 20 hospitals, 23,600 employees, 5,000 physicians and 4,350 volunteers. “As ONE Adventist Health we can bring a greater breadth and depth of resources to our communities,” explains Andrew Jahn, President and CEO.
As ONE Adventist Health, we are also embarking on a new brand direction that includes an expanded mission statement and core values that support our vision of transforming the health experience, outcomes and status of our community. Our new mission statement, Living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope, broadens our focus from solely caring for the sick to helping communities be healthier. It reflects our heritage of providing physical, mental and spiritual care and compels us to break down the walls of a traditional health system and extend our reach more deeply into the community.
In addition to our expanded mission, we are introducing a new logo that represents the spirituality and fresh optimism of our organization. Our tagline – “Together inspired” – speaks to our coming together with the communities we serve and the power that connection will have to move our neighbors toward a healthier life.
“Just over a decade ago, we opened our new campus as Sonora Regional Medical Center,” says Jahn. “As Adventist Health Sonora, we will remain committed to serving the broader Foothill communities with excellence, respect, integrity and compassion.”
