TCSO Arrest Two Sonora Men After Searching Residence

Sonora, CA…On Friday, February 3rd just after 11 PM, Deputies responded to a home at the 21000 block of Madre Drive in Sonora, looking for a woman who had not been seen by her family for several days.
When Deputies arrived they made contact with the homeowner, 56 year old Enrique Santamaria, and 30 year old Johnathan Shrader. The woman was at the home and later released.

A records check of the 1992 black Toyota parked outside of the residence was reported stolen. Santamaria is a convicted felon who is on searchable probation. Deputies performed a search of the occupants and the home. Heroin, methamphetamine, a scale, several bottles of pills, ammunition and a rifle were found. The key and an ignition part to the stolen Toyota pick up was found in Shrader’s belongings.

Santamaria and Shrader were arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
Shrader is facing charges of vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle. Santamaria was booked for possession of a controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
