Sonora, CA…On Saturday afternoon around 2:45 PM, Dep. Hammell was patrolling in the area of Hillsdale Drive in Sonora. He recognized the passenger in a 2003 gold Honda Accord as being a wanted person out of Angels Camp.
Dep. Hammell initiated a traffic stop on the Honda Accord and contacted the wanted woman, 28 year old Dana Hagerman of Sonora. Hagerman is wanted out of Angels Camp for two counts of grand theft auto. Hagerman was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Six Clonazepam pills, six Alprazolam pills, two pieces of tin foil containing black burn marks, a glass methamphetamine pipe containing white residue and burn marks, a folded up piece of paper containing methamphetamine and a digital scale containing a white residue was found.
Hagerman was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. Upon arrival at the jail, a broken methamphetamine pipe was found in the patrol car at Hagerman’s feet. Hagerman admitted that all of the items found were hers, including the pipe in the patrol car. Hagerman was booked on charges of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, destroying or concealing evidence and charges of auto theft out of Angels Camp.
