Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Local & Regional Plan

Calaveras County,CA…The Mother Lode Workforce Development Board (MLWDB) and Middle Sierra Regional Planning Unit (Mother Lode RPU) will be submitting a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Local & Regional Plan for Program Years 2017-2020 to the California Workforce Development Board no later than March 15, 2017, as required under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

In accordance with State Planning Guidance, Mother Lode Job Training (MLJT), grant recipient and administrative entity for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds allocated to Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, and Mariposa counties, has completed the Local & Regional Plan for Program Year 2017-2020. These Local & Regional Plans are available for review during a required 30 day public comment period.

All comments or questions regarding the Local and/or the Regional Plan must be submitted in writing to Mother Lode Job Training Agency at 197 Mono Way, Suite B, Sonora, CA 95370 or email to lyanni@mljt.org no later than 5:00pm March 6, 2017.

A Public Hearing will be held at the next Workforce Development Board meeting on February 16, 2017.
