West Point, CA…CHP is reporting that Hwy 26 is closed at Higdon Road in West Point. Caltrans is estimating the roadway to be closed for an extended period, several days or more, the entire roadway has washed away. SR-26 is closed from the Amador/Calaveras County Line and Higdon Rd in West Point. The only detour available is to use SR-49/26 through Mokelumne Hill.
