Milton, CA…A severe wind advisory is in effect for Calaveras County. The Rock Creek Solid Waste Facility is experiencing wind speeds up to sixty miles per hour. Therefore, the Facility is closing immediately today, Friday February 17, 2017, and is expected to open tomorrow, Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 8:00 am.

At this time the storm advisory is not affecting the County Transfer Stations, which will remain open the remainder of the day.
