Following Jessica Bowman’s huge success in launching Murphys Irish Pub in May of 2016, Jessica and her fiancé Dean Ryan are over the moon to announce that they will open a slightly more upscale restaurant, The Heart of Arnold, as partners. Their common goal is to bring fine food to Arnold. Realizing their mutual passion for food, they are creating a new mouthwatering option for patrons to be able to both dine in or picnic out on their grounds in Arnold. The local lovebirds will also be tying the knot on their newly acquired property this June. Each of them has deep seeded local roots and wholeheartedly look forward to devoting their time and hearts into the community which they so proudly call home.
Dean Ryan has 30 years of successful business and investment experience in the local area. Dean is proud to be a seventh-generation Calaveras County native and is extremely excited to continue to contribute to the local community which is near and dear to his heart. Dean is active in his local church and enjoys the many outdoor activities that Arnold has to offer, including fishing, hunting and camping. He has two children, Taylor, 19, and Tanner, 12. Dean has been involved in Rotary and the Elks Lodge over the years as well as having served in various other community organizations including serving as a volunteer youth group leader. Dean brings his business expertise, investment knowledge and his love for the local community to The Heart of Arnold in hopes of catering to both locals and tourists alike, thus improving the center of the community which he cares so strongly for.
