Alberta attended schools in Angels Camp and later worked for Dr. Dante Albasio for many years as his office medical receptionist along side good friend Alberta Bardsley. She enjoyed spending summers at the Castle cabin in Big Meadow with friends and would stay all summer, welcoming anyone who came by. Her main hobby included crocheting and she supplied several generations of family friends crocheted blankets for every new baby born or other special occasions.
And who couldn’t imagine coming from a trapshooting family, that Alberta also tried her hand at trapshooting at the Angels Gun Club and was the top Lady shooter in 1986. She also provided many hours helping in the kitchen during Gun Club activities. Her greatest joys were her 3 sons. Her quick wit and sense of humor kept many of their friends on their toes and several continued to visit Alberta though the years.
