Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on northbound and southbound State Route 49 (SR-49) at Carson Hill for guard rail repair.

Crews will begin work on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control will also occur on northbound and southbound SR-49 from Russells Road to High School Street in San Andreas for utility work beginning Wednesday, March 8, 2017, through Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
