Slope Repair On SR 26 From Gill Haven Drive To Alabama Hill

Calaveras County, CA… The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 26 (SR-26) from Gill Haven Drive to east of Alabama Hill for slope repair and clearing.

Crews will begin work Monday, March 6, 2017, through Friday, March 10, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control will also be performed on eastbound and westbound SR-26 from SR-49 in Mokelumne Hill to the Calaveras/Amador County line for tree work beginning Monday, March 6, 2017, through Friday, March 10, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
