Planned CCWD Water Outage in Copperopolis: Monday March 20

Copperopolis, CA…The Calaveras County Water District is planning to make repairs to a water transmission line from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday March 20 on Copper Cove Drive in Copperopolis. These repairs may cause about 18  businesses and 200 residential customers in the area to experience low pressure or a short disruption in water service. The section of Copper Cove Drive between Steeplechase Drive and Black Creek Drive will be closed during the repairs, and motorists will need to use a short detour along Black Creek Drive, Quill Road and Feather Drive. While the bubbles and discoloration do not pose any health risk, customers may turn on an outside faucet at the lowest portion of their properties and let it run until the water turns clear.
