Jackson, CA….On March 19th at approximately 11:45 p.m. a 52 year old Stockton man was driving his 2006 Chevrolet Southbound on State Route 49 just north of Electra Road. For an unknown reason he allowed his 2006 Chevrolet to leave the road, strike a rock and embankment and overturn. His 52 year old female passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.

The driver was extracted from the vehicle by American Legion Medics who came upon the scene. State Route 49 was closed for approximately 3 hours for the investigation and cleanup

The name of the deceased has been withheld pending notification of family. The driver sustained major injuries and was taken to UC Davis from all of us at ThePineTree.net our thoughts and prayers are with those affected
