Stockton, CA…On Tuesday March 21, 2017 fourteen Bret Harte FFA members were awarded the golden charm of the California State FFA Degree in a ceremony at Atherton Auditorium located on the campus of Delta College. The state FFA degree is the highest degree that is bestowed upon an FFA member in California.
Represented by a golden FFA emblem charm, it is worn on the official FFA jacket. Additional requirements include twenty five hours of community service, five above the chapter level activities, and two high school activities. FFA members have to submit their record books for verification and complete an application in order to apply for this degree. Recipients include: Gaby Barboza, Emily Bolton, Mason Davis, Rebecca Elliot, Azlynn Gates, Ashlynn Maddeaux, Nicholas Ratkovich, Kenzie Segale, Kylie Smithers, Josh Soria, Clayton Stearns, Sydnie Torres, Alyssa Walker and Haylee Willis.
