Sonora, CA…Sonora Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Lisa Andrews, NP, to Cedarwood Internal Medicine where she has joined Fred Shield, MD, to provide primary care for adolescents and adults.
Andrews has moved from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she was born and raised. She recently earned a Master’s degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Prior to pursuing her Master’s degree, Andrews found an appreciation caring for elderly patients working as a nurse in the intensive care unit at Duke University Hospital.
With a focus on prevention and education, Andrews enjoys arming her patients with the information they need to take care of their own health. Andrews has an interest in treating a wide variety of medical conditions including women’s health issues.
Andrews has relocated from North Carolina with her husband who works as a wildlife biologist. In their time off they enjoy exploring the outdoors with their dog and have already discovered some of the beautiful places for hiking and camping along Highway 108.
Please call Cedarwood Internal Medicine at 209-536-5070 to schedule an appointment.
