Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! A mixed precipitation event is happening right now as the temps struggle to cool a bit. 33F at 5am and a wet mix of snow is currently happening. The high today is slated to 37F but with SSW winds up to 21mph I expect the temps to be a bit cooler and more conducive for snowfall as the morning gets going. Tonight the system will move East and give way to mostly cloudy skies with some residual snowfall on tap in the realm of 1″ or less. A return of high pressure will arrive Friday and dominate the weekend so it looks to be sunny weather with temps moving back up into the mid 50’s for daytime highs which means a great pond skimming event is in order. Another small chance of mixed precipitation will be around Sunday night into Monday morning before yet another high pressure ridging event. Spring is here and so is fluctuating weather patterns and forecasts……….. Come on up and check us out and our “Pure Mtn Fun” ethos as we’re staying open until April 23rd 2017. Peace Out, Mattly
