Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform a moving closure on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) from Main Street in Murphys to the Calaveras/Amador County line for striping operations.

Crews will begin work on Monday, April 3, 2017, through Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In addition, one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Willow Street to Arnold Byway in Arnold for utility work beginning on Monday, April 3, 2017, through Friday, April 7, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
