Construction generally begins at 7 a.m. and ends around 3:30 p.m. Here’s the proposed construction schedule for the next three weeks (this schedule is subject to change).

Construction update: April 3 – April 21

Monday April 3: Crews will install a gate valve near the Secured Self Storage on Fir Street.

Tuesday April 4: Crews will be digging pot holes, installing plates and cutting in a gate valve for Lilac Park. The work will take place at the intersection of Blagen Road, Dunbar Road and Highway 4 and will cause traffic delays.

Wednesday April 5: Crews will perform back-filling and potholing operations near Lilac Park. The work will take place at the intersection of Blagen Road, Dunbar Road and Highway 4 and will cause traffic delays.

Thursday April 6: Crews will be back filling the gate valve they installed serving Lilac Park. Once installed the gate valve will be covered with steel plates.

April 6, 7 and 10: Crews will be saw cutting on Oak Court down Fir Street, crossing Manuel Road and Sequoia Street and Oak Circle ending up at the West end of Blagen Road and Dunbar Road. These operations will cause traffic delays in the area of the saw cutting.

Tuesday April 11: Crews will cut in a gate valve to serve Lilac Park, which may create a temporary water outage for residents and businesses in the downtown Arnold area. Specifics on this planned outage will be posted separately. This work will cause significant traffic delays at the intersection of Blagen Road, Dunbar Road and Highway 4.

Wednesday April 12: Crews will cut in a gate valve near the cabinet shop at the far west end of Sequoia Street. This work will cause traffic delays.

Thursday April 13 & Friday April 14: Crews will excavate and set two pressure-reducing valves at the intersection of Manuel and Fir Streets. Residents living in Mill Woods will experience traffic delays.

Monday April 17 through Friday April 21: Crews will start trenching and installing a 12″ water transmission line between the west end of Sequoia Street moving east, crossing Manuel and Fir Streets and continuing down Fir Street. This work will cause traffic delays in the area.

As of April 2017, T&S Construction has replaced about 15,000 feet of pipeline and another 4,000 feet remain – the project is about 80 percent finished. The remaining portions of pipeline that need to be replaced are along Pine Drive, Oak Court, Oak Circle, Sequoia Street, Fir Street, Dunbar (from Fir to Highway 4) and from Chevron to Henry Street on Blagen Road. Substantial completion of the project will most likely be in July 2017.
