Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform a moving closure on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 from Lakemont Drive near Arnold to the Alpine/Calaveras County line for striping operations. Work will occur beginning Monday, April 24, 2017, through Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Also, one-way traffic control will occur on SR-4 from Upper Moran Road to Big Trees Park for drainage work beginning Monday, April 24, 2017, through Friday, April 28, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
