Angels Camp, CA…On 05/06/2017 at approximately 7:22 PM, an Angels Camp Police Officer conducted a traffic stop of a red Ford Expedition for driving on the left side of the roadway on Amador Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 39 year old Angels Camp resident, William Roraback. While speaking to Roraback, the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer instructed Roraback to step from the vehicle so the officer could search for the marijuana and any other drugs he may have in his possession.
The officer located 8 grams of methamphetamine, 7 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of hash, a methamphetamine smoking pipe, a digital scale, and $2,677.00 in cash.
Roraback was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail for the following charges:
11378 HS- Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales
11379(a) HS – Transportation of a Controlled Substance
11364 HS- Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia
11359 HS – Possession of Marijuana for Sales
11360(a)HS – Transportation of Marijuana
