Center for Sports Medicine Hosting Annual Pre-Participation Sports Physicals

Sonora, CA…The Center for Sports Medicine at Sonora Regional Medical Center will be hosting pre-participation sports physical clinics for local high school students. This low-cost exam exceeds pre-participation requirements to uncover any problems that can raise the risk of injury or limit performance by providing an all-in-one visit with multiple physician specialists including cardiology, internal medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics and ENT. The clinics will be held for the following schools at the times and locations listed:

Sonora High School
Monday, May 22, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
Sierra Orthopedic Institute
680 Guzzi Lane, Sonora

Summerville, Don Pedro, and Groveland High Schools
Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
Sierra Orthopedic Institute
680 Guzzi Lane, Sonora

Bret Harte High School
Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 4:45 p.m.
Angels Camp Family Practice
445 South Main Street, Angels Camp

Fees will be collected at the time of service with half of the proceeds going towards athletic programs at the respective high schools and the other half to the Center for Sports Medicine’s injured athlete fund.
