Striping & Pavement Work On Hwy 4 Above Angels Camp

Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 4 (SR-4) from SR-49 in Angels Camp to Big Trees State Park. Work will occur as follows:
One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from SR-49 to Angels Creek Bridge in Angels Camp for striping operations beginning Sunday, May 14, 2017, through Friday, May 19, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Upper Moran Road to Big Trees Park for pavement work beginning Monday, May 15, 2017, through Friday, May 19, 2017, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
