Jackson, CA…Today is the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Day and it is only right that we should take a moment to honor those California peace officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty in 2017:

It is also important to remember that in 2016 a total of 145 officers nationally died from on duty related injuries, including 11 from California.
