The students making the threats, along with their parents, were immediately contacted the night the incident was reported. The students told officers that they were upset because of poor grades and they did not intend to act upon the threats. A search of the children’s home confirmed that there were no weapons available to them. The parents told officers t hat their children would be supervised and would not be attending school through the remainder of the school year.
