The 2017 Pinecrest Fish Faire Is June 17th

Pinecrest, CA…The 2017 Pinecrest Fish Faire brings family fun, games and fishing to Pinecrest Day Use Area June 17 on the Stanislaus National Forest. Young fishers can learn how to cast, try their hand at fishing-related games and learn about the Forest, the environment and fish. Registration for Fish Faire begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Pinecrest amphitheater and continues until 10:30 a.m. Fishing and casting games and contests and visits by Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl begin at 8 a.m. and continue to 11:30 a.m. Guests will enjoy a picnic lunch when the fishy fun concludes.

7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Registration at the Pinecrest Amphitheater
8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Fishing and Casting Contests
9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Activities and Displays
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Lunch at Amphitheater
12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m. – Presentation of Awards

Fish Faire is sponsored by the Stanislaus National Forest, Pinecrest Lake Resort, California Department of Fish and Game, Kiwanis Club of Sonora and the Stanislaus National Forest Employees Association.
