Ione, CA…On June 8th at 10:30am a 17 year old female was driving her 2000 Dodge Ram northbound on Camanche Road. It was raining and the roadway was wet. She failed to slow for a curve in the roadway. She lost control of her Dodge and it rolled over onto the southbound shoulder. She was trapped in the vehicle and the responding crews used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate her from the vehicle. She was flown to Kaiser South due to the nature of her injuries. The CHP wants to remind drivers to slow down on wet roadways. Your life could change in an instant.
