Medical Center’s Golf Tournament Raises $50,400 For Free Mobile Health Clinic

Sonora, June 21, 2017 – Thanks to the generous support of 56 event sponsors, 129 golfers, plus donors and volunteers, Sonora Regional Medical Center’s 17th Annual Golf Classic on June 14 at Saddle Creek Golf Resort raised $50,400 for Project HOPE, its free mobile health van. Staffed by a nurse practitioner, the heath van is stationed at the Crossroads shopping center twice a week and Interfaith once a month, to provide free basic healthcare services to people who have no health insurance or who are underinsured.
