Valley Springs, CA…On June 19, 2017, at approximately 2015 hours, Party #2 (Franz) was driving Vehicle #2 (Subaru), traveling westbound on SR-12, approaching Sonny Lane. Party #1 (Baca) was driving Vehicle #1 (Pontiac), at approximately 45 mph, following a short distance behind Vehicle #2. Party #3 (Holtz) was driving Vehicle #3 (Dodge), traveling eastbound on SR-12, at approximately 45 mph, approaching Sonny Lane.

Party #2 began to slow in order to make a left turn onto Sonny Lane. Party #1 failed to notice Vehicle #2 slowing, subsequently the front of Vehicle #1 collided with the rear of Vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 was pushed off of the roadway, onto the north shoulder of SR-12. Vehicle #1’s path was diverted to the left, directly into the path of Vehicle #3. Seeing Vehicle #1 traveling towards her, Party #3 swerved Vehicle #3 to the right. However, Vehicle #1 sideswiped Vehicle #3.

Alcohol/Drugs were not a factor in this collision.
