La Grange, CA…On June 26, 2017 at approximately 8:17 pm, 30 year old Sonora resident, Logan Robert Bannwarth, was riding a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on State Route 132 west of Bonds Flat Road at an unknown speed. Bannwarth failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway and ran off of the right edge of the road. Bannwarth struck two reflective road edge markers and was subsequently ejected from the motorcycle. Bannwarth sustained fatal injuries as a result of this collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Bannwarth was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this collision, autopsy pending. The collision is still under investigation.
