Glencoe, CA…A 44 year old Lodi man was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson with his passenger a 39 year old Lodi woman westbound on Hwy 26 near Rich Gulch Road. They entered a left hand curve in the roadway at approximately 30 mph. He failed to safely negotiate the curve and traveled onto the right shoulder where he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned ejecting both rider and passenger. The Lodi woman traveled off a small embankment where she collided with a tree.

She was flown to Modesto Memorial hospital for treatment of major injuries. Alcohol and/or drugs are not considered a factor to the collision
