Angels Camp, CA…Jayson M. Bermingham, a 32 year old Angels Camp resident, is wanted and has outstanding misdemeanor bench warrants for failing to appear on charges related to being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, violating a court order, and driving on a suspended driver license.

Bermingham fled from Angels Camp Police on 06/23/17, at approximately 9:30 AM, when an officer attempted to serve the warrants and arrest him. Bermingham barricaded himself in his apartment, and refused to comply with numerous requests to peacefully surrender. Due to the presence of numerous other residents in the apartment complex, including young children, the decision was made to not force entry. A report detailing the circumstances has been submitted for review to the district attorney’s office, and additional charges may be pending.
