Copperopolis, CA…Firefighters made quick work of the .25 acre Quick fire earlier today near Bailenquick Road and Linborner Way, Cooperopolis (Calaveras County), final acreage is a .25 acre. The fire was caused by equipment use and a citation has been issued. While yard maintenance and defensible space are important year-round, utilizing lawn mowers in dry grass is not safe.
