Mokelumne Hill, CA…Allen Oxender, 65 of Sonora was riding his 2012 Harley Davidson northbound on Hwy 49 south of the county line. He was riding at an unknown speed, approaching a right curve in the roadway. He failed to safely negotiate the curve in the roadway and collided with the guardrail ejecting both he and his passenger.

Unfortunately he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto. Amy Oxender 57, of Sonora sustained minor injuries and was treated at Sutter Amador Hospital.

Alcohol and or drugs are not considered to be a factor in this collision. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Oxenders and their friends and family.
