Valley Springs, CA…Earlier CAL FIRE TCU released the following on the cause of this afternoon’s fire. “#QuailFire [update] The vegetation fire remains 50 acres and is 55% contained near Quail Oaks Rd. and Oak Hill Dr. Valley Springs (Calaveras County) This fire was determined to be caused by equipment use and a citation has been issued for equipment causing a fire, not having firefighting tools within 25 feet and burning lands of another.”
