Valley Springs, CA…A 21 year old Stockton man was driving a 2011 Chevy Silverado in a northerly direciton in the Eucalyptus Day Use area at South Shore Lake Camanche. He wa traveling at approximately 4 mph when a 4 year old Modesto girl walked directly in front of the Chevy. The right front wheel of the Chevy traveled over the young girl. She was flown to UC Davis Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not a factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation
