Copperopolis, CA…A 51 year old Lathrop man was driving his Nissan southbound on O’Byrnes Ferry, north of Black Creek Drive at approximately 65 mph. For unknown reasons, he drove it off of the roadway and down a dirt embankment where he collided with a barbed wire fence and tree.

Alcohol and/or Drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.

He sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Modesto Memorial for treatment.
