Sonora, CA…Philip Douglas Hilmanofski passed away on July 19, 2017 in Sonora, Ca., he was 90 years old. Phil was born May 2, 1927 in North Hudson, Wisconsin. He was a Merchant Marine and Owner/Operator of a tree trimming company for 27 years and a resident of Calaveras county for 57 years.

Phil is survived by son Phil Hilmanofski JR. of Angels Camp, step-daughter Nancy Gray of Petaluma, CA., sister Phoebe Meyers of Gridley, CA., 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. No services at this time per his request.
