Bear Valley, CA…This year’s celebration of Beethoven continues with piano soloist Vladislav Kern (son of piano legend Olga Kern) who joins Maestro Michael Morgan and the Bear Valley Orchestra in Beethoven’s fifth (and possibly greatest) piano concerto dubbed “Emperor” dedicated to Napoleon but later retracted by the composer. The evening’s program also includes Mendelssohn’s “Scottish” Symphony (no. 3).

Round trip shuttle transportation will be available for all evening concerts from Forest Meadows, Arnold and Dorrington (by prior reservation). Barbecue meals will be prepared at the Festival tent for all evening concerts (advance reservation recommended).
